One of Turkey’s most notable songwriters and a founding member of MODEL, Can Temiz will take the stage at KadıköySahne on Friday, January 30th!
Born in İzmir in 1987, Temiz co-founded MODEL in 2005 and became the composer behind hits like “Değmesin Ellerimiz,” “Pembe Mezarlık,” and “Dağılmak İstiyorum.” In 2016, he moved to Los Angeles and launched the gothic-rock/alternative metal project Seven Day Sleep, performing at iconic venues such as Whiskey A-Go-Go and the Viper Room. Returning to Istanbul in 2019, he created the death metal/punk project EXNUN and released the album Decomposition of an Infant Soul.
Since 2020, he has continued his solo career with singles like “Hayvan Yaralı,” “Usturam Çelik,” and “Bilemiyorum Altan,” while also co-hosting Turkey’s popular podcast O Tarz Mı?. His happiest success, he says, is the life he shares at home with his wife Burcu Erim and their cats, Tahin and Pekmez.
