How do I share an event?

Short answer
- Does the link I share need an account?
- For public events, no; anyone opening the link can see it. An account is only needed to buy a ticket or to join.
Every event page has a share button. On a phone it opens your share sheet; on the website it copies the link.
Anyone opening the link to a public event can see it, with or without an account. For events with limited visibility, the link only works for people allowed to see that event.
Inviting
In the app you can invite people you know to an event directly, and the invitation appears in their invites tab. That is a different thing from sharing a link: an invitation is personal.
