Short answer
- Can I see which link a sale came from?
- Yes. A visitor arriving through a tracking link is followed with that code to checkout, and the sale is attributed to it.
The panel has two separate tools and they should not be confused.
Discount codes
A code the buyer types at checkout. You can set an amount or a percentage, validity dates and a usage limit.
Distribution and tracking links
These measure where a sale came from. A visitor who arrives through the link is followed with that code all the way to checkout, and the sale is attributed to it.
Tracking works within the same browser and device. Someone who taps the link on a phone and buys on a computer is not attributed. The most recently clicked link wins.
