Short answer
- Do I have to appear in the attendee list?
- No. You can set the visibility of your attendance in your privacy preferences.
Joining an event does not have to be public. You control it in two separate places.
Your privacy preferences
The app’s settings include preferences for how much of your attendance and your profile is visible.
Your own events
You choose the visibility of an event you create: public, private, followers only, contacts only, followers and contacts, online, or guest list only.
Ticketed events
The organizer of an event you bought a ticket for sees the details on that ticket, so the door can check that it is valid. That is the information the ticket needs in order to work.
